I asked my mother what I should call this post, and her answer was, “Born Creative, of course”. As the saying goes, “Mother knows best”, so I went with it.
I suppose I owe all of you a “Happy Thanksgiving”, a “Merry Christmas”, and a “Happy New year”! It’s almost hard to believe that time has flown by that quick. I sincerely hope that you all had many blessings during the holidays.
Like the rest of you, the Thomas household was a busy one during the holiday season. Along with all of the normal activities, we were replacing a washer & dryer, replacing a kitchen faucet & plumbing, and I was finishing an upholstery job two days before Christmas!
The dreadful 12 dining room chairs. The turned out beautiful, but they were a challenge from the word go.
So, we’re officially caught up to speed- for now:) Onto to bigger and better things!
I think some time ago, I made a reference as to how I have dabbled in Photoshop and Illustrator over the years. Slowly learning the art of digital design. It’s complicated, time consuming, and yet very rewarding. So after all these years, I’ve decided that it was time to create my own unique perspective on digital designs for prints, transfers, and die cut machines.
So without further ado, I’d like to introduce “BORNHOUSE CREATIVE” to you!
It happened shortly after I received a Cricut die-cutting machine as a Christmas gift. Instead of me asking for cartridges for the machine, I was busy creating one thing after the other to push it to it’s limits!
This, is how I tick. I’m the person behind the scenes trying to make something how “I want it.” Just how far can I go with this thing. LOL.
So here we are, and the best part is that YOU GET FREEBIES! If your a subscriber to the blog, then you’re in luck:D Digital prints, transfers, and die-cuts are all in the making, and I’ve already begun to load up the Etsy store. Once a month, I’m pledging to give back to you for being the world’s best subscribers!
By the way, have you ever noticed that I’m constantly changing the colors or the blog header? It’s because of this “creative gene” I have. I just can’t stop. I figure one day, it will all come together and I’ll morph into whatever I’m suppose to do, or what the blog will look like.
Oh and I’m still painting furniture and doing upholstery. You know…just because I have waaaay too much time on my hands;)
If you were delivered this post in your inbox, then you should have received your first freebie! YAY!
See you all soon, and I hope you love your tags!
